Is your child starting Kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year?
Please join us on Wednesday, May 23rd for a tour of Sugar Creek. Tours start at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:15 PM. Please check in at the school office when you arrive.

With summer just around the corner, you might be thinking about signing up your child in a summer camp program or two. There are a variety of camps offered and run by Fort Mill School District faculty in partnership with student clubs and athletic teams. Many of these camps support the sponsoring group running the program, plus it provides valuable community service for the students running the camps. Click on the link to view available camps:

Please check the Fort Mill School District website for updated information regarding the 2012-2013 school calendar. The School Board has adopted a school calendar, but is still awaiting the approval of a state waiver to start the school year before the 3rd Monday in August.

The No Place for Hate® Promise
I promise to do my best to treat everyone fairly.
I promise to do my best to be kind to everyone —even if they are not like me.
If I see someone being hurt or bullied, I will tell a teacher.
Everyone should be able to feel safe and happy in school.
I want our school to be No Place for Hate®.
We have a new system in place in the Fort Mill School District called Parent Portal. At Sugar Creek Elementary, Parent Portal gives parents of students in Grades 3-5 an opportunity to view attendance, grades, and assignments for their child.
